Stacey Kent/UK

1968年3月27日アメリカ生まれ。UKのサックス奏者Jim Thomlinsonと結婚しUKで活動し、1997年に初リーダーCD 'Close Your Eyes'もUKのCandidレーベルからリリースした。ルックス同様キュートでさっぱりした歌が魅力で、日本でも人気が高い歌手。2007年にBlue Noteレーベルと契約、その後Sony Musicとも契約しました。ブラジル音楽やボサノヴァも得意としていて、ボサノヴァの巨匠 Roberto Menescalとの共演やエベーヌ四重奏団Quatuor Ébèneとの共演アルバム'Brazil' など多数の録音に参加しています。(Dec,2023)
